Women in Computational Biology in Scotland
Computational biology is central to cancer research
Computational and mathematical methods sit at the core of modern cancer research, yet women remain underrepresented from undergraduate study through to senior research roles. This workshop brings women in the field together to present their science and to work on the structural changes that make that work possible. Men are part of that conversation by design — the poster jury and the audience include men, because gender equity in the field is shared work.
Keynotes, invited and selected talks, closing panel
Two keynotes (12:15 and 15:15), invited and contributed talks, a patient talk, a poster session over lunch, and a closing panel at 16:00 on barriers across career stages and the practical actions that change them.
